About Me
I am a PhD student investigating visual signal processing in stomatopods at the Queensland Brain Institute under the supervision of Prof. Justin Marshall and Dr. Wen-Sung Chung. I completed my Master’s degree in Life Sciences at National Chung Kung University, Taiwan, working on visual anatomy and electrophysiology of mantis shrimps. Following my Master’s degree, I commenced her PhD in 2019 at Queensland Brain Institute, The University of Queensland. My current project focuses on decoding the complex visual processing pathways of stomatopod.
Research Directions
I have a wide interest in marine biology and my major interests in research are visual ecology, polarization vision, neuroanatomy and electrophysiology. My PhD project will focus on how stomatopods process circular and linear polarisation information in their visual pathways.
